Farm to Table Springtime Menu - 11 October 2020

Would you like to learn to cook springtime meals the whole family can enjoy?

Join us on a 100 acre property in Kangaloon, just 15 minutes from Bowral in the Southern Highlands, to cook up a menu that simply celebrates spring!

The day will kick off with a morning tea and a tour of the farm - we'll walk through the gardens, veggie patch and orchard, and also pay a visit to the resident animals!

Into the kitchen we'll then go, focusing on what's available in the patch and making a delicious menu that honours the warmer weather! We'll cook a lamb roast, make braised peas or broad beans, a village style bread, a rough puff pastry tart and finish off with a dessert that epitomises spring such as a rhubarb and strawberry galette*!

Naturally we will sit down to enjoy the dishes we cooked at a lunch alongside a glass or two of local Southern Highlands wine.

You will leave the farm with your own bread, your own batch of rough puff pastry and a little something from me as a thank you for attending!

9.30am – 3.00pm

($250 per person, completely hands on class, strictly limited to 6 participants)

(*All dishes are subject to change without notice depending on the availability of produce from the property or other local producers)
