It's All About Pastry PT 1
Join me on my 100 acre property in Kangaloon, just 15 minutes from Bowral in the Southern Highlands, to cook up a storm!
10th September - Making family meals with pastry doesn’t have to be hard!
We'll kick the day off with morning tea and a quick tour of the gardens, veggie patch and orchard, paying a visit to our resident Boer goats!
Then we'll get into the kitchen and get cooking! You will learn how to make goat and oregano pasties using a lard pastry, old school Greek lamb pie using a traditional village style pastry, savoury tart using puff pastry, and curry chicken and veg pies using sour cream pastry!
You will leave the farm with your own lamb pie to bake up at home, a batch of sour cream pastry, a beautiful bunch of herbs and a little something from me as a thank you for attending!
Of course, included is a light lunch accompanied by a glass of Southern Highlands' fine wines!
9.30am – 3.30pm
($280 per person, completely hands on class limited to 8 participants)
