Vegetarian Classic Dishes
Join me on my 100 acre property in Kangaloon, just 15 minutes from Bowral in the Southern Highlands, to cook up a storm!
22 September – Vegetables rule in these classic dishes!
We'll kick the day off with a morning tea and a quick tour of the gardens, veggie patch and orchard, harvesting the final bits and pieces we will need in the kitchen!
We will then get into the kitchen and cook up spanakopita (spinach and feta pie) using a traditional village style pastry, kale and lentil soup, pumpkin and sage bread, hassleback sweet potatoes and a whole baked cauliflower with almond yoghurt sauce.
We will also share a wonderful light lunch showcasing the glorious produce of the Southern Highlands along with a glass of local wine!
You will leave the farm with your own spanakopita to bake at home, a container of soup, your own pumpkin and sage bread, a beautiful bunch of herbs and a little gift from me as a thank you for attending!
