It's All About Pastry PT 2
Join me on my 100 acre property in Kangaloon, just 15 minutes from Bowral in the Southern Highlands, to cook up lovely sweets using pastry!
11th September - Pastry sweets!
We'll kick the day off with a morning tea and a quick tour of the gardens, veggie patch and orchard, paying a visit to the resident Boer goats!
We will then get into the kitchen and get baking! On the agenda for the day will be a strawberry tart with rough puff, pumpkin and pecan lattice pies, baklava fingers, apple and macadamia galette, and a raspberry curd and white chocolate tart.
Naturally we will share a wonderful lunch showcasing the glorious produce of the Southern Highlands along with a glass of local wine!
You will leave the farm with your own pumpkin pie to bake at home, baklava fingers, a beautiful bunch of herbs and a little gift from me as a thank you for attending!
9.30am – 3.30pm
($280 per person, completely hands on class limited to 8 participants)
