Paddock to Plate Cooking - 14 March 2020

Join us on a 100 acre property in Kangaloon, just 15 minutes from Bowral in the Southern Highlands, to cook up a storm!

 We'll kick the day off with a morning tea and a tour of the gardens, veggie patch and orchard, paying a visit to the resident animals!

Into the kitchen we'll then go, focusing on what's available in the patch and making delicious family meals everyone will enjoy. Being March, we'll be honouring the beautiful change in the weather by adding some autumn flavours to our menu. We'll cook up a stifado, village style bread, fresh ricotta, cherry tomato confit along with a dessert that epitomises autumn such as a fig tart.

Naturally we will sit down to lunch with a selection of good things we cooked alongside a glass or two of local Southern Highlands wine.

You will leave the farm with your own bread, jar of ricotta, cherry tomato confit, a beautiful bunch of herbs from the farm along with a little something from me as a thank you for attending!

9.30am – 3.00pm

($250 per person, completely hands on class limited to 6 participants)
