Paddock to Plate Cooking - 30 August 2020


Join us on a 100 acre property in Kangaloon, just 15 minutes from Bowral in the Southern Highlands, to cook up a storm!

 We'll kick the day off with a morning tea and a tour of the gardens, veggie patch and orchard, paying a visit to the resident animals!

Into the kitchen we'll then go, focusing on what's available in the patch and making delicious family meals everyone will enjoy. Being the end of winter, we'll be honouring the upcoming change in the weather by adding some spring flavours to our menu. We'll cook up a roast, braised peas or broad beans, and village style bread amongst other good things including a dessert that epitomises spring such as a rhubarb and strawberry tart!

Naturally we will sit down to enjoy the dishes we cooked at a lunch alongside a glass or two of local Southern Highlands wine.

You will leave the farm with your own bread, a beautiful bunch of herbs from the farm along with a little something from me as a thank you for attending!

9.30am – 3.00pm

($250 per person, completely hands on class limited to 6 participants)
